Mother Jones and The American Spectator
The Mother Jones article pretty much in a nut shell said that Palin held her own, but it wasn't good enough for Biden. Palin played the role of the down to earth soccer mom, your average joe. Though Biden pulled away because he knew more about the political issues.
Palin also talked about how she was like the average American. Palin went an emotional chat about how she was a mother whose child is going to Iraq and how one of her children has downsyndrom. Though Biden became emotional too. He came with saying that they were no different. He knows what its like to go through family troubles seeing as how his first wife and first daughter were tradgically killed in a car accident.
Overall Palin did better then what everyone thought she would but Biden was the stronger political figure.
The American Spectator said that Palin also did good in the debate because expectations were low. It said how Palin, a hockey mom, small town mayor, and amateur governor held her own with an experienced Politician. It said she has nothing to be embarrassed for because she did perfectly fine. It also said how Biden never went after Palin, she stuck strictly to pressing McCain.
